This website is owned and operated by Let Africa Live, a nonprofit organization. All website references to “we” “us” and similar statements are in reference to Let Africa Live. We (Let Africa Live) offer this Site, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here (collectively, the “Site”). Please read this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) carefully prior to using the Site.
SECTION 1- INFORMATION WE COLLECT
All Site Users: When donating to our non-profit mission, cause, or vision, on our website or via other means, we may collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address, phone number, purchase history, and other applicable information. We do incorporate a third-party payment provider to collect details on all payments.
Employees: If you are an employee of Let Africa Live we may ask you for additional information such as your name, age, phone number, address, resume, employment eligibility, employment history, education, and skills (collectively “Employee Information”). We will not use Employee Information for any purpose other than the purpose for which you provided it.
SECTION 2- NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
When you visit our website, we will automatically receive your computer’s IP address to help us gain additional insight into your browser and operating system. For more on automatic collection technologies, please see Section 8, below.
SECTION 3- HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information you provide to us through this Site to:
- Provide the information, products, and services you request;
- Implement, improve, and evaluate security, credit, or fraud prevention;
- Implement stellar customer service;
- Secure additional donations;
- Implement a personalized experience when visiting the Site;
- Contact you with offers and applicable information that, based on your browsing history, could be of interest to you;

We may also disclose your information to approved third parties to complete purchases, donations, or transactions, as well as serve you with applicable marketing information.
SECTION 5- PAYMENT
When possible, we prefer all donors to use a credit card to complete their purchase, and upon doing so, our third-party payment provider will gather your payment information to complete the transaction. Let Africa Live DOES NOT store your, or any donors, credit card information. Your transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted by our third-party provider.
SECTION 6 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The third-party provider(s) used by Let Africa Live will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
There are expectations as some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and payment processors may have their own privacy policies with respect to the information we are required to provide to them.
We do recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
Several providers may have locations that are outside of the State of Minnesota and, as such, are located in jurisdictions that may have laws and regulations that may not be known to you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
Upon leaving our Site or you are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our Site’s Terms of Service.

Our Site does the newest version of analytics tracking via Google (GA4), which we use to help us gather valuable website visitor patterns for us to further optimize and improve our online presence.

Because of the changing state of technology and indecision within the industry regarding the meaning of Do Not Track requests, we currently do not make any guarantee that we will honor Do Not Track requests.
