Discover stories of resilience and triumph shaped through the transformative power of hope and healing.
We work to love, strengthen, train, and empower Congolese people affected by systemic violence in order for each of them to live a life of hope and opportunity.
Let Africa Live was founded by Pastor Kubisa Sosthene Muzenende in March of 2000. A former secondary school teacher, he witnessed the devastating impact of armed conflict on young people in the DRC. Kubisa began LAV to provide vulnerable youth, including former child soldiers and victims of sexual violence, with education, psychological support and viable economic opportunities.
A story of heroic resilience, Laba’s journey serves as the heart of why Let Africa LIve exists: to transform Congolese lives and support future generations through meaningful change.
